Academy Park will once again host Ripe Market

The famous and loved outdoor market in Dubai is getting ready for the winter months.

Ripe Market, a popular market and family destination in Dubai, has returned for the coming winter.

Every Saturday and Sunday, be ready to shop ’til you drop at a variety of organic eateries as well as stalls stocked with home décor, jewellery, and much more.

The Ripe Market moves back outside right as the weather starts to cool off and the fall season approaches, as if anyone needed an excuse to shop and support regionally owned companies.

Every winter season, as well as now all year round, there are marketplaces. Ripe Market hosts indoor events at your favouriteneighbourhood malls during the summer so you may peruse the merchandise and have fun.

You can still shop indoor markets every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at The Springs Souk and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Golden Mile Galleria until the outdoor market reopens. Sunday dates and times differ between Times Square Center, Me’aisem City Centre and Circle Mall.

On Saturday, October 15, Ripe Market Academy Park, formerly the Al Sufouh headquarters of the Dubai Police, will reopen.

Ripe Market Academy Park, which is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., is well recognized for its wide variety of locally owned shops selling anything from fashion to arts and crafts.

However, it’s not just about shopping; there are a ton of food and beverage stands, all made in Dubai, and tons of activities for kids, including playgrounds, horseback riding, and the perennially popular petting zoo.

There are even opportunities to participate in outdoor exercise sessions like yoga and live performances by regional musicians.

Ripe Market will continue its indoor summer pop-ups in Dubai’s malls, including Springs Souk and Golden Mile Galleria on Saturdays and Times Square Centre and Circle Mall on Sundays, until the outdoor market reopens in October.

So you can continue to satisfy your weekend craving for handmade goods and eco-friendly clothing.
