The basketball court in Al Jafiliya Square has been renovated and revitalized by PUMA in collaboration with Dubai Municipality.
The new basketball court update seeks to promote basketball culture in the neighborhood and maintain the sport there while encouraging young people to pursue sports and get involved in their community.
Basketball players and fans alike will enjoy this update. On the court, street artist Diego Wikander painted a magnificent mural that is sure to draw attention.
The Al Jafiliya court is the first of a number of sports facilities that will be created as part of this project, which is part of the Dubai Municipality’s efforts to promote community-based sports.
More recreational facilities that support team and community sports as well as a healthy lifestyle will be made available to locals as part of this initiative.
Al Jafiliya Square, which opened in 2001, is one of the unique recreational facilities that we seek to develop continuously. As part of its efforts to take care of all services and facilities for recreation and sports and maintain the sustainability of the ae, the municipality collaborated with PUMA to carry out technical and development works for the basketball court in the square.
